Ipoh~

been to Ipoh last month... went eat n see alot of 洞 XD

all the Gua i visit~ XD

the food in ipoh really nice n cheap... i think i no need to mention u also know ba... actually is becox i lazy to type XD

Been to Cameron highland too... its the first time i went there, its a nice place to relax n rest there... n also, there r a lot of beautiful flower n fresh vege,  fruits there~

Wanna say thx to Chui Fong n Yee Jun, thx for bringing me here n there, it was a fun trip n i wil sure go n trouble u guys again! see u soon! =D

Nyonya Trip! XD

Just came back from melaka last 2 days... 

been eating alot of food, n visit to some must-see in melaka... was a fun trip~

As some of u may know... Mediacorp Channel 8 is showing Little Nyonya (小娘惹）drama lately... Its a nice show n it makes many ppl curious  about nyonya culture, food, history n etc. n... I am definitely one of them! XD

This time we stayed in a Nyonya style hotel... Hotel Puri (富礼客栈）(ya, u know... we kena nyonya poison...)

The rate is ok la... RM180++ a night for a standard room (including breakfast)... 

The location is good also... can walk to Jonker Street, Stadhuys, A Famosa, St. Paul Church, Dataran Pahlawan, etc... The famous chicken rice ball n satay celup also in walking distance. 

Actually Baba House (another hotel which have lower rate, ekeke) is just a few steps away from Hotel Puri... but the time we went there its already fully booked~~~

There r a few Nyonya Restaurant there, like Nancy's Kitchen n Restoran Peranakan... We went to Restoran Peranakan at the end... 

Why? no why... just that its nearer n we saw it first. Ehehe... Btw,one thing... Long Q at restaurant is like a sure thing in melaka -.- 

We ordered Udang masak lemak nanas, Rendang Ayam, Taufu Peranakan, n Vege soup...

Udang is real nice... love it so much~~~~ Rendang ayam is quite nice but the meat a bit too hard... Taufu n the soup taste ok ... Over all worth trying la...

This restaurant only open until 3pm... so be early if u wanna try out tasty nyonya food there!

After eating lunch we went to stadhuys, St. paul church, A famosa, dataran pahlawan, etc... Been to those places for many times wif different ppl... must compile all the pics n post here someday... 

anyway, nothing special, just some places to let u take pic in order to show that u been to melaka b4... XD

What must u eat when u go to melaka? 

1. Chicken rice ball

2. Chendol

3. Nyonya food n kuih

4. Satay Celup!!!

N u must go to the most famous satay celup in town------- Capitol !!! 

We walk there from the hotel we stay (near jonker street) ... it takes around 20 minutes walking... ; ; 

Last time i went there was on february i think... that time onli 60 cents a stick.. now the price has risen to 70 cents a stick... anyway its still affordable la... definitely a must-try... its like u nv been to melaka if u nv eat satay celup XD  

Q-ing up is sure thing if u wanna eat capitol satay celup... =.= the longest i ever Q is like 40 min.

in case u dunno wat is satay celup... see those sticks? u put those into satay gravy, wait it cooked... n that is satay celup... ekeke 

After eating satay celup, the best activity to do is go walk walk at jonker street... 

Too bad the day we went is monday n there's no pasar malam there... ; ; 

So remember if u wan to go jonker street Pasar malam, go there on weekend or public holiday :D

2nd day we went buy some nyonya kuih at Nancy's Kitchen, n eat chicken rice at 合记(been q-ing for like 20 min too)... dint take pic of those food but must mention also... cox they r really reallyyyyyy very very delicious la... Especially ondeh ondeh, n kuih koci bought at Nancy's kitchen...
